A special THANK YOU to all of you who had participated in this year's FOOD DRIVE!  Please read on to see what Heather Scott, Director of Development for SHARE Family and Community Services had to say:
“Your food drive brought in 635 lbs of non perishable food.   We estimate that an average hamper weighs approximately 14 lbs – your actions will feed 45 families!  On behalf of your neighbours please accept our thanks.  Your group has made a difference! “

On behalf of SHARE Family and Community Services I want to thank you and your clients for your generous contribution of 635 pounds of food for the SHARE Food Bank.  The demand at the Food Bank has jumped by 40% this year.  Every two weeks we are providing 1,000 families with some food relief and 45% of our recipients are children.  There is no public funding for our Food Bank and we rely on the generosity of the community to provide food to those who ask for assistance.  Thank-you for helping families that are struggling to make ends meet.   Thank you for dedicating your Christmas event to helping others.
